Kita International offers a child-centered program that is developmentally-appropriate for children who are three, four and five years old. At Kita International children play and learn with supportive teachers and other children from around the world.

Our goal is to nurture the development of the whole child through positive learning experiences, to make the transition between home and the Kita a successful one and to help develop the tools and attitudes necessary for life-long learning. Young children inquire through play. Play is an essential part of a child's development and allows children to make connections and construct knowledge. Learning engagements are created and extended through both structured and free play, both indoors and out.

Our setting offers an exciting and stimulating environment, where each child's developmental level is considered and accommodated. As a state recognized Early Childhood Centre, we ensure that the Berliner Bildungsprogramm goals are being met. The Berliner Bildungsprogramm is enriched by the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate Organization.

Currently we have eleven groups for three, four and five year olds. All children participate in sports and music, plus have the opportunity to spend time in our art atelier, psychomotoric room and construction corner. Our five year olds also participate in German, receive English as an additional language if needed.

Kita International is located on the campus of Berlin International School in the beautiful neighborhood of Dahlem.Kita International moved into brand new facilities in August 2009.

Kita International offers care Monday - Thursday from 7:30 to 17:00 and Friday from 7:30 to 16:30.

Während der ersten Jahre auf dem Weg zu lebenslangem Lernen, bietet die Kita International Kindern im Alter von drei bis fünf Jahren eine pädagogisch ausgewogene und lehrreiche Erfahrung, die Spaß macht.
In der Kita spielen und lernen Kinder aus aller Welt in einer strukturierten, geräumigen und anregenden Umgebung. Aktivitäten wie Kunst, Musik, Tanzen, Sport und Vorschulvorbereitung sind geplant.
In der Kita International ist Englisch die offizielle Sprache, doch es kommen auch Kinder zu uns, die noch keine der beiden Sprachen beherrschen. Spracherwerb und – entwicklung werden durch Pädagogen sowohl aus dem englischen als auch aus dem deutschen Sprachraum unterstützt.
